This trail requires that you show an ID at the guard shack at the bottom of Pu’u Ikena Road. It is approximately 7 miles round trip and has an elevation gain of 1,600 feet (487 meters). This elevation gain occurs as you ascend from the trailhead to the ridge's summit.
